"It is the common fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt." -- JP Curran, 1790

Is BO the great and powerful Oz?

For all of the DEM talk of destiny for BO, I'm starting to question whether this is just a big façade??

So they have a new, unknown, groundbreaking candidate; why not quell the masses discomfort with him by building an icon. An icon and image that he is lauded by the masses, favored by considerable margins, and pre-determined the winner. At the same time strike down with absolute authority any attempt chip the well buffed finish.

You hear a lot of talk about how he can’t lose this election, possible landslide scenarios, huge rallies, record voter registrations (more on that in a minute), and world favoritism. At the same time, any mention of his actual middle name (Hussein), suggestions of Islamic influence, relationships with revolutionary radicals, anti-American sermonizers, and political fixers, or possible defeat scenarios are DOA. They have used media tactics to box-out even the thought of conversing these questions in the MSM. Another tactics of unlimited use is accusations of racial fear-mongering with any questionable challenge to the image.

Is BO the man behind the curtain? Is their uber-defensive approach attributed to a platform built on saplings? Is BO the Enron candidate, who is always presented strong until one peak under the covers causes the deck of cards to collapse? Or for the conspiracy theorists, is this the realization of a true Manchurian Candidate?

I don’t know. I do know that things are not what they seem.
