"It is the common fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt." -- JP Curran, 1790

An Election Review by Jay Cost

If you enjoyed my 7 part series "A historical guide to the future of Conservatism" analyzing the 2008 election against previous elections, I highly recommend a new series by Jay Cost "Election Review".

Part 1 or what appears to be a thorough statistical and data-driven analysis of the 2008 election was published today. I enjoy Jay's previous articles for his detailed and agnostic approach. In his series, Jay takes a more intimate look at regional demographics and is focused less on any particular party or ideology.

Enjoy!

I believe in the 1st Amendment. Say whatever you want. If you're a moron, I may point that out...if I have time. :P
